Custom builds

Software built around how your business already works.

Most businesses run on a patchwork: a CRM that half fits, a spreadsheet nobody trusts, an inbox that holds the real state of every job, and a few subscriptions that each solve a slice of the problem. The work still runs through whoever remembers what happened.

I build the system that sits in the middle of all that. A platform designed around how your business already works, connected to the tools you keep, with AI doing the parts where it genuinely saves time and rules doing the parts where a mistake would cost you.

You talk to the person who scopes it, builds it and keeps it running. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a developer you never meet.

Built around how you already work

Before anything is built, I map how work actually moves through the business: where requests arrive, who decides what, and where things get dropped. The system follows that map, so your team does not have to change how they think to use it.

    • A plain map of what is manual, broken or costing money
    • Built for your roles, from owner to subcontractor
    • No generic software bent into shape

    Client portals and dashboards

Clients see their own status, documents and next steps without calling or texting for an update. For CPK Collective, about 106 clients log in to a dashboard that reads their apartment search live from the CRM, and it replaced an automation tier the brokerage was paying around $800 a month for.

    • Live status, read straight from the tools you use
    • Each client sees their own work
    • Updates that send themselves when something changes

    Operations platforms

For Byrom Rose Construction, every email and project update now runs through one pipeline. 97 percent of job-related notes file themselves to the right job, and anything involving money, scope or an unhappy client stops at the owner. It went from an empty project to production in under three weeks.

    • One place every request lands
    • Work filed to the right job and person by rule
    • Owner decisions flagged, routine work keeps moving

AI where it earns its place

AI reads meeting notes, turns site recordings into recaps, and reads photos of checks and receipts into structured facts a person approves. It does not guess where a wrong answer is expensive. Rules decide those, and anything unsure waits for a person.

    • Recordings and notes turned into written records
    • Documents read into fields you approve
    • Rules first, AI second, a person when it is unclear

Connected to the tools you keep

Most of the value is in the connections: your CRM, your project management tool, Gmail, Stripe, your accounting. The new system reads from them and writes back to them, so nobody keys the same thing in twice.

    • HubSpot, JobTread, Gmail and Stripe already integrated
    • Payments, invoices and reminders handled
    • Data stays in the systems that own it

    Yours, and kept running

You own the code and the data. Your team is walked through it before handover, and it is documented so any developer could pick it up. Most clients keep it on a monthly retainer, so it keeps improving as the business changes.

    • Your code, your database, your accounts
    • Team walkthrough and documentation at handover
    • Monthly support, month to month
Questions

Questions people ask

How is this different from buying software?

Off-the-shelf software is built for the average business and you pay for every feature you do not use. A custom build does what your business does and nothing else, and it can replace several subscriptions at once. If a product already fits, I will tell you to buy it.

What does the AI actually do?

It handles judgment that is cheap to check: summarizing a meeting, reading a receipt, drafting a recap. Anything that moves money or files work to a job is decided by rules, and anything unclear waits for a person.

Do I have to replace my current tools?

Usually not. Most builds connect to the CRM, project tool and email you already use, and add what is missing around them.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope, which is why it starts with a short audit. A focused system can be live in a few weeks. The Byrom Rose platform went from an empty project to production in under three.

Who owns it?

You do. The code, the database and the accounts are yours, and everything is documented.

What happens after launch?

Most clients stay on a monthly retainer for changes and support, month to month. Or the system is handed over with documentation and a walkthrough.
